Mr. P's career as a DJ began in the vibrant late 90s, during the peak of the hardhouse and trance movements. He initially made his mark by performing at underground events and free parties. His early experiences included playing at iconic venues such as Slinky and Cheeky Little Monkey, where he honed his skills and gained recognition for his energetic sets. Over the years, Mr. P had the opportunity to play warm-up sets for notable acts like the Tidy Boys at Slinky in Bournemouth’s legendary Opera House, as well as at The Warehouse in Plymouth.

In the mid-2000s, Mr. P discovered a new musical direction in the heart of the electronic music world—Ibiza. His first visit to the island in 2005 introduced him to the thriving tech house scene, a genre that would soon become central to his evolving sound. The following year, he cemented his love for Ibiza’s unique atmosphere, particularly the renowned Playa d'en Bossa and the iconic Bora Bora Beach Club. It was here that he connected with established DJs such as Heath Holme and Oliver Lang, leading to his first set at Bora Bora, which marked the beginning of his deep connection to the Ibiza sound.

Mr. P's talent and adaptability earned him a six-week residency at Bora Bora, along with a Sunday show on Ibiza Global Radio, where he was able to share his passion for tech house with a wider audience. He was even invited to play on the terrace at the legendary Space Ibiza on Thursday nights, sharing the bill with renowned artists like Felix da Housecat. These experiences solidified his status as a respected DJ within the Ibiza community and helped shape his distinct style, characterized by big, chunky rhythms, jackin’ basslines, and infectious grooves.

Despite not committing to a full season in Ibiza due to personal commitments, Mr. P continued to stay connected to the island’s evolving music scene by visiting twice a year. These trips allowed him to absorb the latest sounds and trends, which he would then integrate into his sets back home, keeping his performances fresh and relevant.

In 2019, after a personal setback, Mr. P channeled his energy back into his music, transitioning fully to digital DJing. This shift opened new doors, allowing him to explore a broader range of styles and techniques. He began playing at local events and pub nights, as well as broadcasting his sets on online radio stations to a growing audience. His diverse music library now spans genres from house and tech house to funky house, jackin’ house, and redrummed disco, showcasing his versatility and deep love for music.

Mr. P’s sets are a journey through the different facets of house music, featuring everything from groovy, low-end bass tracks to old school samples and mashups. Known for his skill in reading the crowd and adapting his energy accordingly, he crafts each set on the fly, keeping dancers engaged and the vibe electric.

As he continues to push the boundaries of his craft, Mr. P remains a true DJ at heart—dedicated, passionate, and always ready to take his audience on a musical journey they won’t forget.
